Online Viewing FAQ

1. What is C1R On Demand?
   C1R On Demand is a Video On Demand Theater where you can instantly access C1R Movies Online.
2. How do I watch a movie?
   Locate the title you want to watch and click “Rent for 48 Hours” or “Watch Now.”
   

   Rentals: After selecting “Rent for 48 Hours,” click the cart icon in the top right corner of the page. Review your order and click “Checkout” to complete. After completing the checkout process, click “My Account” and then click “Rentals Library”. Once in your Rental Library, locate the title and click “watch now” and your movie will begin. If you are a premium member your rental will be valid for the life of your membership, if you are not a premium member your rental will expire in 48 hours.

   Watch Now: You will need Watch Now Minutes before you are able to view a movie. If you are a premium member login to your account and click the “My Account” link. View your available minutes on this page, if you need to purchase minutes, click the “Buy Minutes” button. After completing the checkout process, locate the title you want to watch and click “Watch Now.” The movie will begin to play in the player below. If you run out of minutes while watching the movie, the movie will stop and you will be prompted to purchase more minutes. If you are not a premium member simply click “Buy Minutes” on the main page and follow the checkout procedures. Then locate the movie you want to watch and click “Watch Now”

3. What are Watch Now Minutes?
   Watch Now Minutes are credits which allow you to pay-per-minute for our Video On Demand Theater. Minutes are sold in bulk packages from 15 minutes to 1,000 minutes and do not expire.
4. How do I purchase minutes?
   To purchase minutes, login to your C1R.com account, click the “Buy Minutes” link located under the search dialogue box, or on all VOD pages in the sidebar. You will be promoted to select a minute package and checkout. Alternately you can reach the Buy Minutes page from your Account Overview (My Account) Page.
5. May I get a refund for a movie rental or minutes purchase?
   No, we do not offer refunds for any reason. Please make sure that you are meeting the site requirements before you make a purchase.
6. How do I adjust the quality of the "on demand" movies?
   Move your cursor over the bottom of the viewing screen.  Click "Med" or "High" to improve the video quality.
7. How do I fast forward through an “on demand” movie?
   Move your cursor over the bottom of the viewing screen.  This will reveal a hidden bar which you may move forward to your desired viewing point.
8. I’m having trouble viewing your “on demand” movies, are there minimum requirements my computer must meet?
   Ideally, your computer should utilize Internet Explorer 8 , Firefox 3.5, Safari, or Chrome along with the latest Adobe Flash Player and a minimum high speed internet connection of 1.5 Mbps. You may test your internet connection here.
   Older versions of the above mentioned software may continue to work on our site, however to obtain the highest level of satisfaction it is recommended to upgrade accordingly.
9. Do you have an RSS feed?

10. What is Live and Raw?
    Live and Raw is a LIVE STREAMING show featuring some of the hottest porn stars in the business. 12. How can I search for a movie?
    To search for a specific movie, enter the name of the movie into the search dialogue box at the top of any page on C1R.com.
13. Can I browse movies by type?
    Our Store & On Demand pages allow you to browse by several different types. Simply click “Store” or “On Demand” in the main menu. Once at the Store or On Demand page, select the option you wish to browse by from the Browse By Menu on the left side of the page.
14. How can I find my favorite model?
    To search for your favorite Porn Star just type his name in the search dialogue box at the top of any page on the screen. You can search by First Name or First and Last Name. You can also browse all C1R Models by clicking the “Models” option in the main menu.
15. I forgot my password. What do I do?
    You may retrieve your password by clicking the log in icon. Click “forgot password”. Then enter your username or email address and your password will be sent to you. Please make sure to temporarily disable any spam filters you have on your email account so that you are able to receive the email we send.
16. If I renew a membership that I’ve cancelled will I get back the rental titles from my old membership?
    Your old rentals do not carry over to a new membership unless it has been less than 30 days since you cancelled your original account.
17. May I receive a refund if I do not like the content on your site?
    We place a significant amount of free content on our site to give you a full picture of what we offer. Please make sure that you take a moment to explore our site before becoming a member, as we do not offer refunds on membership fees.
18. Does my membership automatically renew at the end of the term I purchased?
    Yes, your membership will automatically renew at the end of your monthly or quarterly term. If you wish to cancel your membership before renewal you will need to contact us 3 days prior to your renewal date to avoid further membership fees.
19. How do I become a member?
    C1R features two levels of membership, free and Premium. As a “free member”, you get access to the C1R site to rent movies, purchase on demand minutes, and to purchase DVDs and toys. Premium Member enjoy live shows, discounts, 20 free full length movies per month and much more. To become a Premium Member, click the “Join Now” button at the the top right of any page on C1R.com. 20. I need help, what do I do?
    If you have reviewed all of our FAQ and would like help with any other issues you may simply click the “support” link at the bottom of any page on C1R.com. Once at the support page you have three options to contact us: you can submit a support ticket online anytime or you can reach us by phone or live chat during normal business hours. All support requests will receive a response within 48 hours.

Purchasing DVDs and Toys

1. How can I find out about New Releases?
   The easiest way to keep current with our new releases is to visit the Store section of C1R.com. In the left column, click the “New Releases” link and all new releases will be displayed. To see what is coming soon, click the “Upcoming Releases” link.
2. I live outside of the United States, why can’t I purchase DVDs from your site?
   Obscenity laws vary from country to country therefore we choose to limit our mail order to the United States and Canada. If you are in Europe or Australia we do have various companies who distribute our product. Please contact us directly for a list of those distributors. You may still use our online “rental” or “on demand” systems to view our movies. When making a purchase of online simply choose “outside of the United States” when entering your billing information.
3. May I cancel an order once it has been placed?
   No, once an order has been placed we cannot cancel a shipment even if it has not been shipped. Please make sure that you review your order carefully prior to committing to the purchase.
4. Is there sales tax on items I purchase on your site?
   If you are in California you will be charged 9.75% sales tax.
5. How long will it take to receive my order?
   It depends on the shipping method you choose. Overnight/Air Deliveries are usually processed within 1 business day. Ground shipping processes in 1-2 business days. From there, it will vary on the shipping method you have chosen. Air Deliveries usually take 1-3 days and Ground Shipping usually takes 5-7 business days (sometimes less based on your proximity to our warehouse in Palm Springs, CA).
6. I “preordered” a DVD and I’m still waiting for it to arrive.
   The release date provided is an estimated date that your item will arrive in our warehouse. Due to unforeseen circumstances that date may be pushed back. If the release date has passed and you have allowed the appropriate amount of time for shipping and still have not received your package, you may contact us to check on your order. When placing a “pre-order” do keep in mind that it will delay your entire shipment, including items that are available now. Your entire order will be shipped together.
7. I live in the Los Angeles area, is there a way for me to get my DVDs and toys quicker?
   Yes, you may visit our company store, Chi Chi LaRue’s at 8932 Santa Monica Blvd. in the heart of West Hollywood. Chi Chi LaRue's offers DVD's, novelties, lubricants, condoms, apparel, cards, photo books, calendars, smoking accessories, performance enhancers and more in a unique upscale fashion. The shop, which mainly features the 2,000+ titles and products from the C1R Catalog, carries the entire Rascal, All Worlds, Catalina and Dirk Yates Libraries under one roof.
8. What is your return policy?
   
   

   Returns/Exchanges:
Please order carefully as ALL sales are final.  We do not allow returns or exchanges for any reason.    We will gladly replace defective merchandise with the same product if returned within 30 days.   You must contact us at 800-997-9072 or open a ticket at www.C1R.com/support to receive a return authorization (R.A.).  Due to hygienic reasons, we cannot accept returns on sex toys. Any item returned to us without an R.A. is subject to a $10 restocking fee.

   Incorrect Shipment:
If you receive an incorrect item, PLEASE DO NOT OPEN IT!  We are unable to exchange incorrect shipments, if merchandise is opened. You must contact us at 800-997-9072 or open a ticket at www.C1R.com/support within 30 days to receive a return authorization (R.A.).  We will gladly replace it with the correct merchandise; however, we will not replace it with a different title.  Any item returned to us without an R.A. is subject to a $10 restocking fee.

Miscellaneous FAQ

1. May I receive a printed catalog?
   You may contact us directly and provide your name and mailing address and we will place you on our mailing list for our sale catalogs.
2. How do I remove myself from your mailing list?
   You may email remove@c1r.com and provide us with your name and address as it appears on the mailing. It may take one cycle of mailings to remove your information depending upon when you contact us.
3. How do I sign up to receive the C1R Newsletter & Promotional Emails?
   To sign up to receive the C1R Newsletter and Promotional Emails, scroll to the bottom of any page of C1R.com and click the “Newsletter Signup” link. Enter your email address and click submit. You will need to check your email and verify the subscription to our email list before you will begin to receive emails from C1R.com.
4. What are Pre-Condom Classics?
   Pre-Condom Classics are condom-less movies that were filmed prior to the awareness of HIV and when HIV prevention information was limited. It features what we consider today to be unsafe sex. In no way do we condone or encourage the practice of unsafe sex. When having anal intercourse, please use a condom to prevent the transmission of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
