Q: How and when did you get started?A: Prior to starting Dirk Yates I shot other full features, starting with Sgt. Swann. This all began in 1985. I always had a fascination with military guys and in the early 90's I started shooting "interview" tapes as a test to see how they perform, if I could use them further down the line.
